I'm new on here but I've been on here reading for a little over a year. I picked up a black 2005 Rx8 6spd in early January this year and have been in love since haha. I've gone a while without posting because I've never needed to. I always find the info I need using the basic search tool that everyone hates..thanks to everyone btw

Let me rephrase. I am new to using an account and posting, but I am far from new to this forum lol. I love this site. The only thing i read more than threads on here is the holy bible haha. It is full of valuable information on our cars.

It takes ALOT of reading but it is worth it. I have yet to ask any questions and I have done a whole lot of things with my car (maintenance,mods,etc) all on my own and I haven't let any mechanic or garage touch it, and i have this forum to thank for that . Just about every problem with our cars have been solved and discussed in depth here on the forums so just read read and read.

 

Also, go to the new member forum and read 'new and potential owners start here' , newbies guide to modding the rx-8' , 'new members, new owners, read this first'

Those are good starting points and very well explained basic info you should know about your car.
