Hello everyone. I just bought an 07 black rx8 (pictures to come). Im luckily not new to the rotary motor, my roommate as a 94 fd and i recently had an 87 fc that was swapped to an ls1. Sadly due to needing a more streetable car I traded it for a type-r integra, which I hated. Just 3 days ago I found my 8 woth 59k miles very clean and unmolested. Only downfall was it was a sport model with the flappy paddle shifter which after driving I dont mind so much it is nice to be able to pop over into drive. My plans for the car are low psi turbo within the year or so, but may stay na for awhile since I have a 4 year bunper to bumper warranty. Not looking for a power beast just a quick agile weekend track car. My mod plans are bhr midpipe as of now and a catback after more research, and pettit racings master tune up kit.

Really only question is there any good na mods out there to increase throttle response or shift times in the automatic? Oh also got my scangauge 2 hooked up in the ashtry.

 

The only one I know who has a boost out automatic rx8 is Phil's 8. It's kinda rare to see an auto rx8 with engine modification on it. If you want power, just get a manual 6 speed, or maybe a 2006 or newer 6 port auto.
