New black R3 owner, bought a nice beautiful R3
Everything is good but currently suffering Intermittent oil level light that goes away as soon as you restart the engine
OMP pump pressure sensor will read 0 PSI
No other warning lights no cel, car drives great, a lot of things were replaced based on the workshop manual but still not fixed and hoping to get some help!~

I'll write the story here when I get access I'll post it on the S2 forums
Low oil level light will flash intermittently, pull codes only code is P1684, very random, not related to how hard the car drives or engine temperature or anythin
I would sometime drive 40min with no problems, sometimes as soon as I drive for 5min it would come on,
Only thing when I observe with the scan tool is the OCV ampere goes from the usual 0.3-0.5A range to 1.0A, Oil metering pump pressure at 0
as soon as I restart the car everything goes back to normal

Reman engine was put in 4000 miles ago, by Mazda compression good, the car starts up right away, car has no excessive smoke or anything
Replace all related oil hose no leak
Replace OMP oil pressure sensor (Reading incorrect pressure while the car is on ignition)
Replaced OCV Valve

Following the procedure, the only thing left is the oil pump(I thought it came with the reman engine), or the PCM, which it is so intermittent there is no way to diagnose this

dumb question but you know rotary engines burn oil and you have to keep them topped off right? if there is a problem with omp your car will go into limp mode

Sounds like maybe an oil drain back issue(oil is returning to pan too slow)? You're pushing all the oil out of the pan causing a low light, and no pressure reading. Is the pressure reading always 0 or just when the light is on? It's not going to show oil pressure if there's no oil to pump.
maybe take the oil pan off and take a look at the drain holes.
