Guys I need help, mazda will not start
Anybody and everybody I need help. I just got me a mazda rx8 about a month ago and every thing has been running great but just yesterday I got a new battery. I got off work last night around 1am and tried to start the car and it wouldn't start. I know it's not the starter or alternator so it should be the battery. Funny thing is I tried going my car a jump but it still wouldn't turn over. I don't know if it could be the battery cables or not but I need someone else help. My dashboard lights came on for a second then turned off, the car locks will not look automatically anymore. What's going on?

Disconnect the battery cables, clean the clamps and the posts, then when you reconnect, ensure that it is a firm and solid connection before tightening them. A corroded post may allow you to tighten the clamp without it actually being a firm seat on the post.

I have no clue if I did blow the main fuse. I'm pretty sure I didnt. Even though the car will not start, when I open the car door the icon shows that the door is open on the dashboard. When I put the key in the ignition nothing at all happens. No lights no nothing. It's probably the battery connectors?

Nothing else comes on the dashboard except the door open icon and the lock key icon is on. Other than that, nothing. My battery cables are a bit rotten up and I needed new ones before
