Greddy rpm adaptor 3 wiring

Gregs, tried that and no luck again, I think my problem is that I have only .6 volt coming out of the pcm to the coils, when I connected it up the way you stated the engine doesn't drop onto 1 rotor but while having a timing light connected to number 1 rotor leading coil the timing light flashes slower and the voltage drops to .2 volts, when you remove the adaptor again the light flashes extremely fast and the volts go up again.
I found what the factory voltage is supposed to be in a Mazda service bulletin regarding testing the coils and it is supposed to be 1.5 volts so why is mine so low.
I have a solid state battery isolation switch running off an odyssey battery and there is a 4.1 ohm resistance from the motor to the neg at the battery but I wouldn't have thought that would cause any probs as everything else is working fine, I wouldn't have known about the low voltage at the pcm except for installing the Adaptor.

Good info. I haven't gone this far into checking voltage yet. Or monitored with a timing light. How exactly are you checking voltage at the pcm? I can run these test and report back what my findings are

At the moment I am checking with a multi meter but can also check with an oscilloscope if needed, as I was wondering with the short time the voltage is sent
to the coils maybe the meter isn't reading correctly .

Shift light problem is sorted, I have used the Australian Made Ecliptech Shift I shift light and all works fine, connected the pickup wire to the yellow with green tracer wire at the pcm and they work perfectly. For some reason the Greddy rpm adaptor just wouldn't work on my car, this may be of some help to other members who are having the same problem.

Hello Friend.
My name is Pedro Jose and I am from Spain.
I have a shift-i ecliptech and not sure how to connect.
I read that you have connected to the PCM, but it is not clear how, that take the rpm signal wire?
Care to take a picture?
I'm desperate with the device, because not get mount and ecliptech not give me help.
