Exhaust Opinons

I was gonna post this in general discussion but seemingly STILL can't post anywhere but here.

Anyways, I was thinking sometime in the future I wanted to put some aftermarket exhaust on RoXy. But I don't want that loud pissed off bumblebee ricer sound. I was kinda hopin for a more deep rumble that vibrates your chest, but isn't extremely obnoxious ya know?

So I just wanted some of you guy's opinions on exhaust you think gives that rich rumble that's not gonna break my bank but isn't the cheapskate stuff either. I don't do cheap for my baby.

Thanks in advance guys!

I bought a Race Roots resonated mid pipe because my cat converter died, but I still have the OEM muffler. I like it though because it's pretty quiet when I'm cruising, but when I put my foot down it howls!

Rotaries don't rumble, and above 6K they are all obnoxious.

Here's what I have and love it.

30 days and 10 posts ... besides we already have plenty of threads describing all the various exhaust notes different mid and cat back combinations produce.

Stop thinking about exhausts and get your overheating issues resolved.

I recently installed a racing beat rev8 exhaust and its great. Nice low deep tone. Not obnoxious at all under 4krpm and sounds awesome when you do redline it. Oh and no highway drone at all. I did hear the borla is like the RB rev8 but i havent heard it in person.

And on a turbocharged RX-8 the sound is totally different. I have the TurboXS and people can never believe it due to how quite my car is. A turbo is a great muffler.
