I am a newbie and I apologize if I am doing this wrong!
only thing I have ever worked on is 1990 Ford F-150. I do not know what I am doing to this car. I bought my rx8 sept 2017. It’s 2011 with 84k miles on it. I think it’s flooded because of the short trips I make to and from work that is only 1.8 miles down the road. It won’t start. I’m going off the Mazda troubleshooting forum. Is this what I am looking for and suppose to unplug to Deflood my car?
You could pull the ign and fuel pump fuses instead... OR...
if it is a MT car just pull start it. It is the easiest way to get it going with minimal fuss. All you need us a buddy with a bit of a clue and a tie rope
It is AT. I went through the Deflooding process again today and finally got it to crank after 29 attempts. Put new spark plugs in and now I just need to get some coils and wires because I have no idea when or if they have been changed as I have had the car for alil over a year now and the car has had two previous owners. Thank you for your feedback!
