Driver side door

Last night my drivers side door would not close. Flicked the lock on the door several times and it closed. Now it will not open. They remote wont open it, but it will unlock the passenger door. The key wont open it and it will not open from the inside. HELP!!!!

Sounds like you need a new latch assembly.

If this is a LHD car, the part number is FE01-59-310E

Sadly, I don't know how to get the door panel off without also opening the door. Hopefully somebody else will know.

Op, I still currently have this issue with my door. It is a small linkage (made of plastic) that broke and it does not always work with the lock anymore.

Also tip how to get the door open, Put the key in the door and twist it the direction to unlock the door (I Forget I think counter clockwise) and then While holding the key turned to unlock, pull open your door handle.

There is a way to unlock the door so it doesn't lock itself shut too, so you can work with it till you get it fixed.

Once you get the door open, set the car to lock, and when you press unlock, help assist the lock on the door to go into the unlocked position. Mine can still lock but not unlock electronically which is a pain in the ***.

You might want to try using the key with the battery disconnected. I had a problem with a lock actuator once that stayed energized and locked out the key and the lock tab... when i shut off the power then I could do it manually
