Those AFR's at idle are not okay, they should be in the 14.5-14.6 range (Stoich). You likely have a vacuum leak. The oil temps are fine if it has been at idle a while.

That AFR is close to the high limit for the sensor. Does it decrease when you are driving? Any CELs?

I'd suggest putting all your concerns in one thread, it helps people understand what's going on with your car. You posted in another thread that your CEL was lit which could be related. You'll get better help that way.

Is that a wideband O2 gauge? If it's not, it's meaningless and will flop around. Regardless, don't pay attention to it. Pay attention to the catalytic converter code. Have you done anything to the cat? Have it checked for clogging. If it's clogged and you continue driving, you'll need a new engine.

Go through the big red posts in the New Member forum for common issues to pay attention to.

You're not answering any questions.

Verify your cat isn't clogged. Just saying you have aftermarket doesn't mean squat

Does the aftermarket exhaust include a midpipe or replacement cat, or just thr catback? If it's only the catback, it wouldn't cause a catalytic converter code and you could be looking at a major problem that will lead to a new engine. One line answers don't help us help you.

Yeah soldier, it means speed . . . just like stickers!

Hey Moneypit, it actually probably only means noise rather than speed . . . and if you don't fix your CAT issue it will me nothing as you will need a new engine and the only speed you will have are the speed of your Nike's or the bus.

I am aware of that you don't have to repeat that i need a cat. Stop trying to make yourself seem smart by repeating the obvious. All of you people are ignorant af and can never be positive maybe its ****** like you that give rx8s bad reputation.

Do you even know what the word "ignorant" means?
I'll give you and example:

It's IGNORANT of you to presume that the participants of this thread know your understanding of the information that has been suggested here, as you have yet to acknowledge that you have a cat issue. And by calling it "obvious", as it is NOT obvious, displays more IGNORANCE on your part.

Therefore, it is IGNORANT people like you who poorly maintain their car by IGNORANTLY driving it while it has an "obviously" damaged cat, causing more damage to the engine.

This damage is more than you're likely capable of fixing on your own, forcing you to sell for a loss, whereby you IGNORANTLY blame Mazda and the engineers for creating such an engine and boast this IGNORANT misinformation all over the internet, giving the rx8 a bad reputation.

And calling strangers who you know nothing about "ignorant af" and "pussies" is likely to be the most IGNORANT statement in this thread, as every single person here has offered more information than you're like to offer in your entire ownership of that piece of **** machine you have, and who have offered more to civilization that you have (and possibly ever will have) to offer.
What exactly is a "*****", anyways?

Good day.

****** like us???

Its funny, everyone on here have tried nothing but to help you and guide you in the right direction. Yet, you think it's fair to be ungrateful and point fingers at them, and call them names??

If things were so obvious, then why did you feel the need to come here and post your concerns, why seek help when its so obvious to you?

Look, no one is trying to ridicule you or watever it won't serve us in any way, shape or form.

Anyways, your car and your money my friend Wish you all the best..

BTW do you even know jack about *****?
its a verrrrryyy strong part of the body.. imagine a fuking human being pushed outa there.. So next time think twice before throwing the word ***** out there :-)
