Cranking problems
If it starts after sitting for a while, that points to low compression or failing fuel pump. Possible a fuel pressure line leak, but you usually can smell the raw gasoline fumes in that case, which you haven't mentioned.
I'd recommend taking it for a compression test at this point. It will give you the health of the engine and the health of the starter

You usually have to schedule it, and it will have to be at a dealer unless you know a non-dealer with a rotary compression tester. See the compression section in the new owner's thread for what to expect from the test, how to know you are getting valid results back, and why you can't have it done just anywhere.
I actually realized what was causing my car to turn off. when i have my radio on and i stop at a stop sign my car shuts off. then i brought my other car over and got it jump started and it ran fine. turned on the radio.. and next few stops it shuts off again. any idea what that is?

I was driving the car to see if i could realize any smells or anything. I drove around a couple. i would say i drove for around 1 1/2 miles for the first 1.25 miles i had no radio on and the car actually had power. then i turned on the radio and within the next 3 blocks. it shut off on the stop sign. i did realize my car losing power when i turned on radio but i didn't think nothing of it. and turns out when i hit a stop.. shuts off and sits there.
Can you try it again, only this time instead of turning on the radio, turn on the headlights and AC?
They each both pull more electrical load than the radio, so if it's a problem with electrical load, it would manifest more clearly.
