OH Couple of laps at Mid Ohio

Couple of laps at Mid Ohio in the new to me stock 2004 RX-8. Car did well. Driver could use some work. :-)

Cheers,
CJ

Good to see you're having fun with it, enjoy! Are you planning on doing some mods to your RX-8?

No mods in mind yet. I did plugs, wires, coils, cleaned MAF and eshaft sensor this past weekend and I think one of the new coils is bad. Idle is better now but acceleration is not smooth until high in the rpm band. I'm going to troubleshoot that tomorrow night. That issue did not exist before I did all the work. :-( No codes.

Here is another vid from the track day.

Awesome video. I've always wanted to get an 8 on track. Have only owned 7's over the years but looking to add an 8 to the garage finally...

Good show. I haven't been on that track since the 80's. Very fun course. Condition of track looks good.

If you did the ESS + 20 brake stomp, it may take a few cycles for the computer to relearn engine management.
