Considering this RX-8, thoughts?
Hi there,
New to the forum and the RX-8, have been doing my fair share of reading on various topics and feel comfortable proceeding with getting one. Probably wont be viewing for another 2 weeks or so, but wanted to get any thoughts or general opinions people have prior to viewing!
I know that a compression test is priority #1, and I have a guy arranged to carry out the test. The RX-8 in question looks slightly different to the others I've been looking at but I'm still too ignorant of the many variations etc, past the S1, S2 distinction!
Any general thoughts or comments welcome, thanks in advance!

That's a pretty stock one - Grand Touring makes it the top of the line model, which includes the two-tone leather interior.
Only non-stock items I see are the wheels, the lip on the trunk lid looks like a Mazda accessory.

Hi Conor welcome to the forum. What the guys said a few aftermarket bits on it. Its a 1.3 alright but classed as 1.7 for motor tax in Ireland.
I know a fella that does compression test call outs and he will also give you a good run down on that car and will cost yah bugger all, and he is from Dublin. Its been for sale quite a while now and really a better option is the 231bhp (6speed). If you need to know more send me a pm
