Clutch counter wight

Hello everyone again i have a problem,I just bought a new clutch for my Mazda RX8 2004 and had to get a counter weight for it now i need to know how to assemble it can anyone help me?

You shouldn't need a new counterweight if your car is manual and you're not changing the flywheel. What clutch did you buy? Who said you need the counterweight?

Competition clutch 1kit from red line 360 we had to buy the counter balance separate.

We did not change the flywheel Red Line said we needed it

I think Red Line is wrong. The counterweight lives behind the flywheel. If you're not touching the flywheel, you can bolt up whatever clutch you want like any other car.

Thank You everyone i will give it a shot and let you all know how it turns out and i will send it back to red line 360 it cost me $140.00.

The flywheel has been turned and there no counter weight on it do i need it and if so there noway to attach it

THAT A PICTURE of the back side of the flywheel and the other is the counter weight i bought but there no way to hook them together is that for a automatic

Isnt this the only counter weight? And its on the other side of the engine. Behind front cover nowhere near the flywheel

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The stock flywheel IS the counterweight, so no extra rear counterweight is needed. If using an aftermarket flywheel, then you need to add a rear counterweight.

The front counterweight needs to stay where it is regardless.

Just put everything back together the way you found it, and bolt up your new clutch.

I want to Thank everyone for their help with my clutch my car is now running and i'm sending back the counter weight to Red line and getting my money back now i have to change my o2 sensor and get the emissions done,With everything i put new on this car it should be a new car lol. Thank You all again.
