Hey everyone, I am a long time reader here but just joined recently. I bought my 8 about 6 months ago and have been doing everything I can to take great care of it. I have read the "new member" forum pages over and over from beginning to end.

Since my purchase I have had the engine replaced due to low compression (under extended warranty), new gaskets, new motor mounts, new coils, new plugs and wires, new radiator, and I replaced the gas cap because it was triggering the CEL. Next on the list is new brake rotors and pads, then new tires.

Everything has been done at the Mazda dealer by their head tech who I know and trust. I've changed the oil every 3,000 miles, I premix with Idemitsu premix, and I redline my baby at least once every time I drive it.

Hey I often drive my RX8 down from New Jersey to visit my best friend in the Hilton Head-Bluffton area of SC, and I was always wondered what dealer I could trust for service if I had a car emergency in that area. What is the name of the Mazda dealer you use, is it the one in Bluffton near I-95 or another one ?

Thanks guys! The dealer I always take it to is Hilton Head Mazda Subaru and yes it's the one near exit 8 off I95. Let me know next time you're down we can grab a drink or something man. I am about to detail my 8 and I'm shopping around looking at different products. You guys have any suggestions?
