Oh okay that would make more sense then, if I hadn't already purchased the amsoil I would have went with Eneos, I'll check it out though, a buddy of mine with a Lancer Ralliart needs to change his fluid soon.

Life After 8K RPM....
When you change your tranny fluid where do you put the oil from. My mechanic used a gun to push the oil frm the tranny drain point. I doubt that is right cuz it took forever. Just curious I heard there is a way to remove the gear **** and boot all the way to pour in the fluid??? Please enlighten me a little thanks

My favorite in my last Mazda (MX3) was AMSOIL GL-4 with a couple ounces of Lucas transmission treatment to thicken a little for better coating and shock prevention.
My new RX-8 had 33K miles and shifting into Reverse and Sixth was tricky. Put the AMSOIL GL4 and Lucas in, and she shifts quietly and like butter. I also put AMSOIL GL5 into the rear diff, with about an ounce of Lucas. Feels great.

Neo Synthetic's SAE 75w-90
used to use Idemitsu Racing Performance Gear Oil SAE 75w-90 synthetic.
Both great oils! Getting good results using NEO synthetic, especially after an hour at high heat were the 8's transmission likes to operate at apparently.
