How many crazy things am I gonna run into before I tear in and need something I don't have. I just don't have room for multiple cars. Thanks in advance.

 

i believe all north american 8s 2006+ all use the same 6 port engine

 

Ok. I have both 2006 cars. Engine doner is a documented Mazda OEM engine in an AT with 15k on it. Car was parked when I bought it. Starts and runs strong but has rust issues not worth fixing so I picked up a cherry 2006 MT with a dead one. [future rebuild for that one] I am not new to cars after 35 year a jouneyman But I am new to rotary. Any tips are appreciated as I wanna strip the doner and get rid of the car cus so to speak. Please respect the thread as I will respect all good input.
