Question 2007 Mazda RX8 manual engine into automatic engine?

hello my name is comya and I've own my lil Dorito for a little over 3 years. i recently ran into some issues with my OEM engine losing compression...time to replace it with a new one! Well, at least that sounds easy. Halfway through the job in my garage I had noticed I bought a MANUAL TRANSMISSION ENGINE. Nice going me. Anyway, what I'm trying to ask is if its possible to put this engine in even though its from a manual.

What year is the car? 2007+ engine cores are the same, but not before.

Yeah should be fine, just strip it down to the block and use all the sensors, injectors manifolds, etc from your car.

Okie dokie i went ahead and did all of that, got a little worried because I was having a really tough time turning it by hand before dropping it in. (I took all 4 sparkies out put a little royal purple in and got her moving all good) now all I have left to do is rewire everything
