2004 Power Steering connector delete
Hi my first post ,and it may be a silly question but here goes , its more of an answer than a Question.
I know all about the power steering problems with the RX 8 ,, I clean the conectors under the air filter box and it works fine for about 5 days. done it 3 times now same result about 80 miles and starts to act up again .. So my idea is , remove the connectors and solder the wires directly together, The bigger power cables maybe a connector that has grub screws with hex drive ( or find a big solder iron ) maybe im way off any thoughts would be appreciated.
Im sure it would make so,e other repairs harder but if needed I could un solder .. or is it some kind of other problem that takes 80 miles or so to come up with the computer control who knows , im sure some one on here dose Thanks
BlackBox thats the reaction I am expecting as I doult I am the first to think of this
