2004 Passenger Window Misaligned. Help!
Hi my 2004 Mazda RX8 has a new problem where the passenger window has become misaligned. There's about a one inch gap now when I roll it up. Any idea how to realign the window? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Assuming it can move up and down without issue save for the last one inch, it sounds like the regulator is slipped. You can try gripping the top of the window and pulling upwards to get it to reseat (just watch your fingers), then see if it'll close all the way. If not then you'll have to take the door panel off and try to reseat the window that way.

You will want to remove the door panel and ensure the glass is attached to the regulator properly and that it's not loose on the mounting points. You will also want to ensure that the regulator is firmly attached to the door. A loose regulator will cause a lot of alignment issues with the window. Finally,if those are good and the window track and seal are fine, check the regulator for play. A worn regulator can cause the window to drop and to fail to roll up.
