2004 blown motor!

hey there guys and gals. My name is Kyle. I may be the proud new owner of a 2004 6 speed RX-8 with a blown engine. From my understanding on this forum, I should be good to swap in any series one engine so long as it was out of a car with a manual transmission. Im hoping this is correct, please give me a yay or nay. Also, is there any advice you can give me before swapping out the engine. The car has 80,000 kms on it. Thanks a lot!

Hope it goes well for you!
AFAIK, any manual series one should fit.
Be special careful with the front crank position sensor - they are delicate. If there is one on the replacement motor, try and use that rather than changing it for the one on your car...
