UMass/Amherst Car Show Sat May 12, 2007

FYI there is a large car show happening at UMass/Amherst this Saturday. Lots of events, contests, food, etc. I've been told that 500 cars are expected. It's $10 to enter your car and is free to attend the show. More details:

The UMass Motorsport Club would like to invite you to our annual car show, on Saturday, May 12th, 2007.

Summary:

This event is our own version of an amazing car show. It will be a day filled with incredible cars, a chance to show off your ride, loads of opportunities to win trophies (with or without a ride), and view some of the more rediculous events in motorsports. You'll also have a chance to meet club members and talk to some of the premier gearheads on campus and in the surrounding area. Parking is every other space and everything on wheels is eligible for awards (If you bring a tank or hovercraft we'll make exceptions). We'll also be bringing in as many vendors as possible ranging from food to performance parts and racing shops. Read on for specifics.

Location:
Umass Amherst Campus, Yellow Lot 11. (See directions below)

Hours:
The parking lot and registration will open at 9:00AM. Lot capacity is 800+.
Events will occur between 11:30 and 2:00
Registration closes at 1:00pm
Trophies by 4:00pm
