Warranty work in the DC area
Hi all,
I was wondering about good/bad experiences with the dealers around DC. I don't mind driving a bit for superior service...
Thanks

I believe rosenthal mazda (Arlington) is a sponsor of the forums here, no clue how their service is yet, but they at least sponsor a nation wide forum so that's saying something right?.... I hope....

Rosenthal kicks *** hands down. After trying other dealers in the area, I found them here in the group and have never been happier. A big thumbs up for rosenthal!

I have heard good things about Rosenthal Arlington, but I personally DO NOT recommend Rosenthal Tyson's Corner. I have had many bad experiences there and will not be going back. I currently use Brown's Fairfax Mazda. They are much better, but still not super great.

Jzief128,
I bought my 8 from Brown Fairfax in Feb. Haven't dealt with the service/parts dept. yet. I have an appt. for oil change on May 12.
However, my wife also bought a new Tribute in early March. It had a really bad shake/shimmy when braking. She took it to them and they replaced her warped rotors with no hassle/haggle at all.
Anyone in particular you deal with at Browns?
Thanks!

I give Rosenthal a big PLUS vote. Rosenthal is www.finishlineperformance.com and their prices can't be beat.
For the simple front Mazda badge Brown wanted like $30, while Rosenthal sells it for about $6. That gives you an idea of their markup on everything.
I went to Brown's to purchase my 8 and got nothing but a slimey feeling from them.
Brown is opening up another Mazda dealership at the Dulles AutoPark soon so hopefully that GM will be a better manager.

Everytime I have gotten it back, there are little things wrong with it (small grease spot, scratched steering wheel, etc.) Very minor things, but they all irk me. Regardless, I will keep going there myself.
Thanks for the input. I will keep my eyes out for that kind of stuff.

Brown's Fairfax? I didn't get that feeling at all. If I had, I would have left. I was used to dealing with Bill Britt in Fredericksburg (lived in Spotsylvania before we moved "up north") and those guys were great. No haggling, what you saw on the car was all that you payed (except taxes). You could putz around their lot all day and they would only ask you if you needed help once or twice. Wouldn't keep pestering you trying to make a sale. Prices were reasonable too. We would have delt with them this time, but all of the sales staff that we knew have left, so we didn't even bother.

Just wondering, anyone got recall service near D.C area?
I am trying to drop off my car for Recall, about 3-4 recalls, where should I drop my 8 off? any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks.
