Good deal, I plan on leaving my house around 8, so I should be there by 8.45 - 9.00.

I dont have mohegan rewards, but i do have foxwoods ones lol. My gf will be there as "crew", maybe we can all get together for a group lunch or something after and shoot the ****.

By the way, since this is my 2nd event, would I be registering under yNovice again, or do I step up to zNovice.

You would probably still be novice. Y is your car's class. Z novice is for novices with faster cars than ours. You wont "step" up to Z unless you get a porsche or something like that.

I think if you feel comfortable moving up You can. I moved up last year after the first event because I placed First and they said I'm fine to fun in normal contention.

Was a lot of fun, sorry you guys couldn't make it. There is another event in a few weeks at the LAZ lot in Hartford. By then I should have my BHR MP and since it will be my 3rd event i think it would only make sense to move out of novice. Looks like the rules will put me up to csp if i put my bhr pipe on. I might give it a shot just to see how i compare.

Yeah I kinda went through this last year when deciding to run with my RB midpipe or not. BSP is a tough class to compete in. For this season I opted to keep my cat on. On the may 6 event I got bumped to BSP due to the lack of competitors for STX. My best time was still over 4 secs off the leader. Who also happened to get FTD. That Caymen is going to be hard to catch up it to if its even possible.

Even for the Mohegan event I was in a class of my own. I was kinda looking forward to you moving up to STX with me. It gets lonely. lol

 

hahahah, well i will see how i do in one of the sp classes for the next event. If I get ruthlessly laid out I will reconsider the path I am taking. If I can rock DSP that would be great.

Has anyone ever gone to this? Any good? What type of cars?
I've been reading and it seems like it's very popular because its run every week (every Monday night), usually many hundreds of cars, a staff of 30 people, and a dedicated location.

I could be down...
