75% of the RSVPs were on hand for the first RX-8 Happy Hour in Herndon. Nice place but parking is tough between 6 and 8. We could have lined up 10 RX-8s in our own parking section at 5:30. At 6:15 you are waiting for someone to pull out so you can pull in.

We sat out on the patio with the gentle patter of cicadas serenading our libations and conversations. Inside are pool tables. Maybe some dart boards; I didn't look too closely. I'll post another happy hour date in a couple weeks after I return from my trip to Arkansas.

 

wahhh!! I was actually up there today for training in Alexandria! I wish I had seen this- I could have waited around and missed the 3 lovely hours I spent on 95 during rush hour. *sigh*

 

sorry I missed this - I was on vacation. Maybe next time.
