^ Oi its like a ping pong match here lol..
Is it easier for you to join up with us or the other Caravan from NE (the one on Rx7club). Ours is leaving Norwood at 5:45 (if not sooner lol). Oh and did anyone notice that gas dropped below $3 for the good ****!!

Yes...!! There is a Gas Station pretty much right off the exit with one of those quickie-marts in it with a bathroom to boot lol. I believe there is a Pancake house right next door to it so if your hungry and get there extra early you can have a bite to eat. Myself I'm just snagging a muffin from Dunkin's!

One more day of full work and it will be friday. I'm going to be running around like a mad man the next few days to get my car ready and get stuff for the trip. My bank account is gonna be draining out like a siv haha.

Though I almost lost my car today, took a exit onto 95 S. The road was wet and I took the exit at around 35mph (usualy take it 50 or so). The tires started to come out from behind me and I tried to correct it. Sadly my car is the base model and I have no lux features like Traction or Stability control so I spun her out and barely avoided the gaurd rail. My rear end ended up on the median between some contruction barrels. My heart was thumping hardcore let me tell ya. No damage though WHoohooo!!!

i did the same thing once while taking an exit off route 1 near kelly's roastbeef, turned the traction control off just to see how much of a difference it made, big mistake, especially on a wet road, i ended up doing a 180 as i came off of it, luckily it was late at night and no other cars ended up on the other side of the road

^ Ouch.. one of those things you take for granted I've never had that lux haha. Just last night the conditions were perfect and I should of known better but I was in a slight rush to get to the Gf's house. Was warm out still and the rain was that slight drizzle crap, so the pavement was pretty much like slippery ice. I've had a few squirly moments in weather like this but never anything as bad as last night. I'm just thankful no one was behind me for two reasons, cause no one else was hurt and cause I'd be embarassed as all hell haha.

Ok off to find some tires since my best friend isnt getting back to me.. wish me luck!

^ hey what kinda tires you looking for clavius..i just got a new set of khumos from discounttires.com, they were pretty cheap i had a leak in one of my rear tires so i brought it to sears auto. i told the guy that was working there if he can take a look and see if there's a nail or something in it..he looks at the wheel and said hey dude it's not even worth looking for the nail or fixing it just get all four new tires...i mean yeah i needed new tires but it wasn't to bad that i couldn't drive, and at least fix the freakin leak..he said they would have to special order the tires and it's going to be over 1000 dollars i was like f*** that...even if i didn't want the tires he should have checked for a leak but didn't even suggest that, just told me to come back if i decide i wanted them...then went to town fair tire and they said 830 for tires...i'm like damn i don't got that kinda cash...so i searched online and ended up getting the khumos for 106 dollars each with a 40 dollar mail in rebate so it ended up being 384 for all four and brought it to a tire place they put it on for 80 bucks...on top of that it was free shipping can't beat that...i think it was cheaper on tire rack about 92 each but no free shipping...

Holy I hope you can make it! I'd atleast have a fellow NE owner whom I know (beside chrism of course ). I wish to say we'd be hitting NYC about 9 or so since my goal is to leave MA at 6am that and since I've traveled that way a few times already I know where I'm going for the most part so traveling will be less cautious.
what part of CT u from? i'm in rocky hill

I'm from MA my friend
I've been through CT a few times now this year for a pick up and a meet. New Haven is right offa 95 and a good stopping point since it has food and gas place's right off the highway

If your interested in Rotorfest you should meet up with the other 2 guys and join in the fun.

oh and I went to Townfair Tire and getting a decent price for some tires. I'm still NA and a Auto to boot so I dont need some ultra lux tires just yet. I'm getting them for 90 a pop. Some close out special they are having to unload the tires. They are Mastercraft Coopers, first question I asked was "What are they rated" he said W so I was happy last thing I wanted was a 125mph limited tires (though our auto's are limited to 124 for now but.. yeah lol). Tomorrow they'll be put on around 11 and I cant ******* wait!!!

No idea as of yet my friend. I'm good friends with Chrism and the rest of the Tri-state crew ova there so I can imagine a small mini-post meet for dinner somewhere. The event ends at/around 6 so if we left right away it we'd be in MA by 10 or so. Myself I took Monday off knowing I'd be driving at night for 4 hours and oi god only knows what time I'd be leaving so I said "screw it I'm sleeping in on monday!" haha.

I'm sure plans be it major or minor will be talked about once we all get down there. You'll like the Tri-State crew especially Kimberly Lynn

Filled up my tank with the good shyt from Shell for only $2.99 9/10's it was worth it. So here's hoping the extra octane will give me a slight boost in mpg lol

Ok off to finish off cleaning out my trunk to fit my rims in lol.

it seems we are all meeting up at 730 off of exit 46 on 95 south in new haven on sargent drive. bang a left off the exit... there is a gas station there right on the corner of church st ext. Its the first gas station u will see on the right hand side.. personally i'd like to meet up at the beach on the other side of the highway but its more convenient with the gas station there

Cool, we will be coming down 91 more then likely, do we need to go north a bit to get to that exit or is it south of the 91 merge?? Google Maps can only give me so much info.

^ Disregard that, I just noticed it is right after the merge. so we are all set, you guys there ^.^

The beach area is yes very nice but I'm planning on a wham-bam-thank you ma'am kinda meet up. Us MA folks will fill up and hit the lil boys room if need be then we are outa there lol.

From New Haven its a 2hr drive to our local in NJ so I wish to leave by 8 the latest but rather earlier if traffic is kind to us lol.

One last bump for good measure for the day.

I'm planning on hitting the sac around 9 or so to be up around 4:30.
I still have to Vacum but I'll do it at Rojo's for $2.00 lol. Their vacum is pretty damn powerful.

I'll give giving you CT peep's a phonecall as soon as we hit CT.

I printed up directions for everyone to Rotorfest but I havent been able to print some up for the way back. If someone could be oh so nice and print up a set back it would be nice atleast to New Haven since after NYC its just a straight trip up 95. If we take the wrong exit we'll be forced to take the Bridge toll of $6.00 I wish to say and yeah.. its not worth it lol.

Well I'm off to spend some time with the gf lata for now.
