I usually rent a track once a year... Last year we had 8 cars and we had a blast. This year i thought about getting a larger count so I'm posting to see if any of the local RX8 guys interested. Most likely the track day will be in late NOV either on a Fri or SAT, but i will need to get a headcount before i pay the track a deposit to reserve it. We are going to have few clubs there as well so its going to be fun. We are going to have few M3's, E55's, LS1's, GTP's, maybe STi's etc....

So who is interested?

realistically only a protege club as I dont think they have many if any non-protege members.

I imagine you are looking for more expensive and powerful clientel to share the track with but if you want more people post on their forums....a lot of ppl like taking their turbo p5s or modded MSPs to the track

Why reserve the track and pay $100 per car when you could just show up and only pay $10 per car? How is this different then any other Friday night at the track except the price is 10x higher?

 

Well a normal test and tune is more than 10 bucks at MIR. If i remember it was 356 bucks. Second u wont be able to make more than 3 runs the whole day waiting in a endless line. That is why i usually rent the drag strip once a year a skip all those test and tune days. I make more runs at a private rental more than 20 test and tune days combined.
