I am looking for Mazda Dealers around the NYC area (NJ included). The closest dealer to me is Giuffre Mazda. For those who has been to Giuffre will obviously not recommend that dealer and due to past experiences, I would like to avoid them when it comes to a big investment (an RX8).

Can you guys recommend dealers around the NY/NJ area that you had good experiences with?

edit: Sorry but I didn't specify what service i needed. We're interested in buying 07-08 RX8's since rebates should be pretty good now.

 

I recommend Wayne Mazda in NJ. Also request Kevin to work on your car, he is awesome with the 8's.

there might be a dealer opening up in the Bronx...I might end up working there.

 

I used to work with one of their master techs...from what he says, they have 2 or 3 master techs with more years of experience than most of you guys have been alive for! Make no mistake, this guys KNOW THEIR **** but theyre not like us...they couldnt care less if its a RX-8 or a MPV, to them its a paycheck!
Your car will get fixed though! most of the time the first time out...

Stay the HELL away from Giuffre Mazda. Not only Rx-8, in Mazda3/6/MPV/even MX-5 community, that name is a no no no no no no for them. 4 example : 2 labor hours for 15 minutes job, rip off parts, sell customers stuff that they dont need, say something is broken when its still working, etc.

U might want to try Wayne, I've never been there. but so many ppl swear they're good. Kevin is on board with us.

if its *warranty only* work, u can try Manhattan Mazda, Krazy(spelling) is a pretty nice guy to work with. but like most dealerships they overcharge their customers, last time they quote me a clutch work for 1260 parts & labor included, my heart almost stopped. Also, dont expect your car to be back within the same day, u can get Enterprise rent-a car in the lobby, ask if its going to take more than a day, most likely the answer will be yes and Mazda will cover the rental.
