Someone should come and help me with my 8. It quit on me while in Mt. Lebo today... gay. Got towed to Hamilton Mazda in Irwin and they gave me a 6 for the time being. Still a waste of a day

Thanks for all the offers for help guys, I greatly appreciate it. Most likely, its going to be covered under my warranty, I hope. I have to say, Mazda roadside assistance was very good and quick. They even sent a flatbed, which I was happy about and took me all the way to Irwin from Mt. Lebo. So far, so good with Mazda service. Oh yea, Hamilton Mazda was 8000x more helpful thank Smail, which is where I bought the car. I will definatley be going there from now on if all goes well...

 

I had a couple instances of ignorant SA's over at smail and won't even go there for my free inspections....

 

ha your post didnt make sence to me. i was like what the hell you talkin about first gens for then i realized you were proally talkin about sales ***.

and why not have a meet at china palace??? my buddy with his 2nd gen can even show up. he delivers pizza and there is some guy with a FD in town.

1st prob.
They broke the antenna base while washing the car. Couldn't tell me the part they broke, they ordered it though. I could pick it up next week and put it in myself....


2nd prob.
Finish the inspection I previously was there for, where the first issue happened. they didn't give me back my wheel lock (and passed my car with a rear brake clunk). 2nd trip they gave me back a broken key. 3rd trip they took off my locking lugs, gave me 4 free lugs, and then offered to sell me a new set of locks for $50 bucks.

 

I love chinese food.... I think with my stomach a lot...

 

Anybody need a garage to use in the Latrobe area? I got a garage (my house has a garage, not a place of business) and lots of tools (air -compressor and associated tools, engine hoist, hand tools, etc)

Just thought that some of you guys might not have access to this stuff and it seems everybody is having car issues.

Got the 8 back already this evening, Hamilton is awesome. If I need a new ride anytime soon, I definatley will be buying from there. Glad to have my 8 back, it was missed for that short period of time...

 

I'm sorry if my note was pointless to you. I thought this was a group of 8 owners who were close enough to me to possibly take advantage of a good deal on winter boots, that's all. It was a mutually beneficial post (assuming there is someone who needs them). Given that your thread was 12 pages long, I mistakenly thought it had turned into more of a Pittsburgh 8 owners thread, and not necessarily about any one specific topic (such as the title of the thread for instance).

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with offering up winter shoes at a good price. However, my statement was regarding the fact that your post was so incredibly off-topic that it was equivalent to a thread jack to me. I don't know, perhaps it's just me, but when I said "pointless", I was referring to my perception of your thread as a random Spam type of thing, rather than anything remotely relevant to the topic at hand. If you weren't spamming, then I apologize.
