yo jay i found this site that lists all the racetracks n road course locations all over the u.s.. it also shows all the drag strips too. it even has the road courses n drag strips that were never started. and theres a specific page in that site that has everything in NY related to motorsport.

http://www.na-motorsports.com/Tracks...ourses.html#NE

i only looked at like 2 so far but the new jersey motorsports park is the one i think i was tellin u about at ur crib that has a road course n a couple more things. it just opened last year in april. check the site out. 1

looks like FoxyRoxy called Pocono. Here's the PM I got from FR.

Mike,

I called Pocono Raceway and the prices vary between 5k and 12k+ for a weekend single day rental. This does not include corner workers, but does include all of the other support personnel, radio's etc. At 5k, it would be about $50 if we had the same turn out as Rotorfest this year.

Give me a call if you would like to discuss further.

Tim
So there you have it. like I said, just an Idea.

we need to start thinkin of names to call this event. Willie jspec suggested somethin like RotorStock or Rotorpalooza. some suggestions i can come up with off the top of my head are RotorRevolution, RotorDay, or maybe Rotors R' Us. lol or like willie said, do u think the Rotorfest name can be salvaged????

rotorfest was created by vosko and by the looks on the forum he is asking for a please on his idea.so a name change would be appropriate
respect his wishes
I have 2 idea's one is for the hardcore Rotorheads which some would understand and a easier name but will have to be discussed further and approved by the Chief's of Board

**** Vosco, the limp-dick money stealing ****-sucker. If it isn't registered under his name, then it isn't his.

Hey kel these are all great ideas.

Everyone has great ideas i am making notes of them, because this is what we need something that has more appeal to everyone.

I have contacted mazdaspeed/mazda and they are willing to help.

So kel, chris i will begin working on a proposal today when i go home, this way we can work out the kinks before next year and see what we need.

Thanks to everyone for the great suggestions.

Well I have some idea's that I would like to share with the new officals of this evet. You all have a PM. I just would not want to share in a public forum because someone who will remain namless does not need to learn how to hold an event. That that any of us would go to any of his events again.

maybe this is why he charged what he charged:
https://www.rx8club.com/ne-rx-8-forum-29/hyperfest07-119983/
probably needed new parts..if you saw the car you'd probably know why

Listen to this man!! If he put together the events he mentioned they are big and make Rotorfest in comparisson seem like it was just a garage sale.

As I've stated with Jason, Kel and Chris attached to this it will be big and will finaly put the East Coast on the Map on par with SevenStock (though I think we could surpass 'em hehe). Plus look at all the support you already got after only what less than 24hrs after saying "Maybe we should do it ourselves?!".
