They claim that is adds 100whp with the turbo. Sounds like a pretty good gain just a bit expensive. Anyway I was rearended today at the gaskins/broad st light. Looks like my car is no longer dent/scratch free I just spent all sunday Claybar/Zaino-ing it too grrr. O well at least she had insurance.

It is minor but no clue how much it will cost the person who hit me. It dented the plastic bumber which i'm sure is not cheap.

I feel for you !

Did it just damage the paint or is the bumper cover ripped/dented? If the cover is actually damaged, hopefully you will get a new bumper cover. Regardless, push to have the whole cover re-painted.

I say first sue her for as much as you can..then second take it to Baugh Autobody to get it fixed. They were the peops who took care of my 8 when I had my hit and run.. They repainted the whole bumber..and it looked beutiful..

Off present topic, but I just wanted to say "howdy" in the Richmond thread -- I just picked up my '04 Winning Blue RX-8 GT from Capitol Mazda last weekend, so even though I live in Harrisonburg I guess Richmond is my 8's ancestral home. So hey everybody, good to be on the team, I say :D

Nice but some of those parts are cheeper at rosethal mazda and it is in NOVA. There was no paint damage but there is a dent in the lower part of my bumper that continues into the black plastic. The exhaust black cowling no longer lines up squarely with the middle black part of the lower bumper either.

Went over to Cap Mazda today and they have a white 05 there. It is automatic but they said they have a 6spd on the way this week or next. I am glad to see they did not adjust the gas mileage estimates on the sticker what a joke!

Yeah, the one that would be here next week will be the one I orderd. But, it will have leather, and I don't want that.

Yeah, I kinda like haveing good gas milage with my car..hmmm..and I like the power...hmmm..should I stick with the Legacy or go back to the 8...hmmm

Dunno...will have to wait and see..

Well the handeling is the one thing I find hard to give up. I have been test driveing a lot of cars trying to decide if I should get rid of my 8 or not. I don't think I have found anything that handles quite as well as the 8 with the power of the 8. There are a lot that get better mileage but most of the 'sports' cars that I have driven are pretty lame inside. I think they give you a minimalistic interior with any of the sports cars besides the 8. IE the S2000, WRX SDI, Lancer EVO. The G35 was the closest comparison I found. O well looks like I will hold onto my 8 for a little longer.

I know, the 8 is the best handeling car I have ever driven. But, I was thinking of upgradeing the suspension of the Legacy and increasing it's capabilites. The Legacy has the same supsension in the rear as the 8..so..there is potential. But, the power...I love stepping on the throttle and cars just start falling in line behind you... No fuss not muss..not reving 9K..2300RPM I have 250 lbs of tourque..not HP TOURQUE... its a massive feeling..

Glad to see that Richmond peeps are still posting on this forum. I hit 10K miles this past week, and the gas mileage seems to be improving... had a roundtrip drive to DC over the weekend and had 1/4 tank left after 230+ miles. The rest of the tank I used to go between work and ended up with 21mpg for the whole tank with 275 miles, best yet for my 8.

The 8 is just too cool to give up, don't do it! The G is nice but I still like the 8 better. You'll miss the rotary roar for sure. I drive my brother's 350Z alot and I keep saying to myself I'm glad I got the 8 instead.

Just wanted to chime in and let you guys know I'm still alive. They haven't gotten rid of me yet!

Dragonfruit, the mileage seems to get better and better. I'm regularly getting 280-290 out of a tank, and I've gone over 310 without the light turning on now. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll keep going up!

Okay, saw a yellow 8 heading south on *** this afternoon- it turned right onto Nuckols and I assume got onto 295. Anyone know who this might be?
