Can you guys give me an opinion on this throttle body I got ceramic coated? The outside looks pretty damn good but the inside looks terrible.

dude, wtf happened? did they pry the **** out of the butterfly bars?

you can try honing it out, it might cause some very mild idle issues primarily a slightly higher idle but other then that really ur biggest concern is if it will catch on the butterflys and make it stick, as long as the butterflys dont get caught in the scoring it should be ok, how deep is it anyways? its hard to tell

Yea I know. I'm probably going to return it. Yea I figured since the butterflys don't actually totally block that as long as they can freely move it should be ok. What pisses me off is that the guy knew how bad the scoring was and he still sent it to the ceramic coating guy.

Some dude from Canada. It's really a shame. The coating looks great with only a few nit picks here and there. I could have by passed this whole ordeal by buying that rotary works throttle body but everyone says they leak.

Yea. Alot of people are having problems with them. People who got the "first" batch are claiming they don't have leaks but it's more probable that they just don't notice yet or have not properly tested it.
