I'm in for that... I'm also in for a zaino purchase, but I'll need your advice, Jake. My current stock of Meguiar's NXT products is pretty good.

lol you're missing the 13 hours for al's.. and both your cars were already clay bar'd before i started
like i read somewhere "if you want your car to shine, it takes time" =P
i'm up for a group detail day if you guys want one but we'll need someone's driveway or something.. just don't make me do all the work or it's gonna cost ya!! lol but i don't mind giving pointers and helping out

Also I should mention that Jake said my paint was actually in very good condition so that just puts the buffing process (well jake's buffing process) in perspective
...and it was free for me cuz of all the stuff I installed on your car

^ no lol.. that's using bad logic.. provided you use the same products, putting in more time will probably give you better results.. of course someone who uses a beater and not their pride-and-joy car will not need to spend as much time as someone who has to run through splattered bugs, acid rain, deadly sun from a thin ozone, and the apocalypse everyday

^ yea I came to that realization too ... I guess the reason is that it is ultra stock looking ... I am going for Lo-tek one for my temps/ oil pressure ... then when I go turbo, I am moving those down to the rb pod and getting afr egr and boost up there

As of right now yea ... I am getting a friend to bring his r32 ... dont get too excited, I am talking about the VW ... but it's still legit ... bring the adapter for the oil filter ... I'll bring $20? Also, I may be getting a turbo kit out of this epic fail https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/rx8-greddy-turbo-kit-install-starting-problems-195956/

Well believe it or not but my comp through a code in shut down mode an won't let it start. The reason being this is because when I said I started my car an it stalled... Well when I was taking the kit off I found a rag stuck in the intake manifold that was in my intercooler to plug the hole from anything getting in it. When we installed it we forgot to take it out an it sucked it up an I pulled the rag out an now it still won start so now the comp is all fucked up an doesn't know what to do so I gotta take it In an get it all reprogrammed an reset cause idk how to do that. An it's under warrenty so they will take care of that unless u have any suggestions other than imma a retard for leiving that rag in there lol

hmmm i don't think it really matters which detailing clay you get.. mother's, meguiar's or zaino.. i've used all 3 and they're really the same i think.. go for what's cheap and easy to get.. just use a clean bucket of car shampoo as a lubricant when you're using it.. you'll use too much spray detailer if you use that and it won't make a difference anyway since clay pretty much removes any polish/wax coat
to be honest the clay bar only sees my car about once a year- basically the times i take out the orbital buffer and do a full detail of the car to take out swirls.. if you use a good polish (nxt / zaino / optima / klasse, etc) after it's clay'd once, it should keep the paint in good shape so it doesn't get oxidized, rough, and won't have lots of road tar.. if you use a carnauba wax (which i refuse to do) though, you'll want to clay it much more often like what jin mentioned
for leather care, there are 2 really good ones- leatherique or zaino z9 & z10.. i've never used leatherique but i've read that if you want to RESTORE neglected leather, that's the way to go.. it takes some effort though and is a bit pricey.. zaino's great and i'll even say makes me happy i got a leather interior so i can use z10 on it and live with the smell.. just use a good brush to apply the z9 (or any leather product)- it's a huge difference over using a towel / pad (http://www.autogeek.net/natural-hors...ery-brush.html).. for a store brand lexol is probably one of the better ones, but i haven't used it before
i'm thinking of ordering some more zaino stuff sometime that i ship to my job in NY.. if you want, i can get you stuff in the same order.. i think kel wants me to get some zaino for him too
