its good starting point but not 100% if its done out of pocket.

 

yeah...carfax only helps a little bit. Here's a story...when I was searching for my 8, I came across an '05 with ~23k miles. Got the carfax for it and it came back clean...no accidents, etc, etc. But then I took my mechanic to come look at it and there was paint overspray on the underside of the car, so the car obveously had body work done to it. Gotta be careful when buying used.

ughhh...this is turning into a nightmare. I just found out that the driver side front wheel hub is now screwed up and the worst part is that the car was just at the dealer and I just put my midpipe back on ...FML
