Just an idea... after we do this sushi night... we should all get together one night and have a crab feast? yes/no?

 

Yes I forgot the 10th is mother's day. Sorry about that. We could just do it super early this month and meet on the 3rd. It's short notice but it could work.................suggestions?

 

Yea, the 10th would be a problem for me too. The other dates and the location are fine with me.

 

i can't even get any to meet here, much less drive to MD. we've got 2 Pettit owners in the area too. there is finally gonna be a meet here on May 2nd though. i think this will be only the 2nd RX8 meet there has been here since i've had my 8.

i will be thinking about going to MD but it might have to be a Saturday.

Anyway thanks for the consideration Chico,,, but I wouldnt want to reschedule just for me,,, my car is finally coming together but Im doubtful that I will make the deadline of the track meet get my inspection approved and be ready by the 16th but we'll see...

Anyway lets stay on track for the Sushi meet....

Brandon the only way your gonna get people to come to your crab event is to come out and meet us so people can put the name to the face... I'll go even though Im not a big crab person,, I love old bay I literally sit there and eat the salt and old bay,,,

Not everyone will always be able to make every meet,,, but with the weather turning,,, its show time and there will be plenty of shows and meets for us to catch up with each other...

I'll tell you what... Since Greg (rotr8) is so good at organizing... After the sushi night, I will get with him and we will figure something out if he is up to it....

 

your absolutely right greg!! I need to get out to a meet... Just my damn work schedule sucks sometimes... As usual I will always do my best, I'm tryin to really interact on the forum and get to know most people on here! I really want to come out to a sushi night... I actually can make any Sunday in May so this is kinda moot to me, but my 2 cents is that the 3rd may be too close to get a lot of people organized that fast, the 10th is Mother's Day, and the 24th is a holiday weekend, so they all have their challenges. As for the spot, I agree that parking lot quality overrides food quality!

 

parking lot quality is more important to me than teh food quality as well

 

it will be held on the 17th regardless of wether Im there or not,,, It has and will be on the third weekend of the month barrinng holidays...
hahhh yeah the Sushi is a plus meeting up with everyone is the most important, and parking is important too...

 

Okay, so I'm putting it on the 17th on my calendar, hope everyone can make it!

What do you all think of this idea, a game... at dinner when everyone is present, we all take a one dollar bill and write our name on it, then put them in a bag, shake em up and pull one, and that person wins the loot! So every time we meet, one person would win basically the cost of their meal or (half) a tank of gas or whatever. ?? comments/votes

I dont know almost every dollar I have for too long ends up being some piece of hardware on my car,,, I only carry plastic and even that becomes something on my car to,, I should just wrap my car with an M&T Bank logo...
