I totally forgot about the Track Event I have at Summit Point the 16th and 17th,
Is there anyway we can make it the 24th.....

I would like to say it will be because its my event but is will really be up to the people...
And if the people must do the 17th rather than the 22nd then I will not be present...

 

i'm only 1, but unfortunately i probably cant do that particular sunday because my college graduation rehearsal is the next day. poopz

 

The 24th is out for me also.

 

The 22nd or 23rd would be fine by me, I can't do Sunday evening events really because my new contract is really strict about arrival times, so the 24th etc would be out for me.

Just a FYI for all those contemplating the SUNDAY possibility,,, It would be an early dinner(3-5pm)so we all can get back and a good nights rest for the Monday work day....

 

Thats cool, depending on distance etc I would be able to swing that. I would just have to make sure I was back at a reasonable time (ie. 10:30ish).

 

Im pretty sure from the rally point in White Marsh the drive would be just around 1hr...

Hey! Friday night was a lot of fun... glad Bleu and I made it! It was awesome that we caught up to the MD caravan too - and once again Dave, sorry I tried to cut you off at the toll- I was just taken off gaurd that we finally caught up! And speaking of... how did you two come up on Bleu and I on the way back? You guys left us behind and we actually stopped for energy drinks! How did we get so far ahead of you?

 

We were way ahead, but we stopped for pick me ups too...

What a great meet Friday night! How about those guys driving by and yelling, "Too many RX8s, TOO MANY!" ?? LOL Jose and I will work on getting pics up this week but it'll take a while because of work and family stuff.

It was great seeing everyone.

 

Looks like I missed out on a good time.

I'm super busy prepping for a trip to finland in May, but I might be able to swing a Sunday evening meet in DE. The 17th might be tricky, but I could probably move some things around. Once mid-June hits though, I should be able to make it out to pretty much anything on the weekends hopefully...just as long as blackened doesn't park next to me and make my shinka look completely inadequate.

And hi to everyone else that I haven't talked to btw. New 8 owner in the philly area here.

 

Hey Failsafe! Yes you did miss a good time, but you can't say you weren't invited! lol How's the shifting going, run over any crossing guards lately? There were three other '05 Shinkas Friday at the meet, you should make sure yours is the fourth the next time.

 

The invitation is for all ,,, no one put up a fight when the Jersey folks wanted in,,, The more the merrier...

 

*much* better now. Someone else explained things a little better on Friday and I basically learned in 5 minutes. lol. Having a lot more fun now. Dogs and cats, rest easy.

Three others?? I still have yet to another aside from my own lol. Well hopefully the details will be ironed out soon and I'll do my best to block out some time to meet up.

 

There seems to be a concentration of '05 Shinka's in the Tri-State area. Hopefully the 3 that were at this last one make it to the DE gtg, with fail and me that would be 5 Shinka's at one meet. We should definitely get a Shinka-only picture.

 

Who were the other two at the meet? I wanna check out albums if they have them. I know Beth's man has one. Who else was there?

Yeah, whats up with Pat not showing... is she still on the forums? I have always wanted to see her 8 in person, the pictures are amazing.

 

Ive sent about 5 PMs to her over the last two months about ours meets...
Shes been really non active ever since she 'finished' her car, shes now really active in the FJ Cruiser's forum...

 

Let's see, if I leave her my car as collateral maybe I can then bribe her into letting me take it to one of the sushi meets...

 

Sounds good to me, as of now I only know that she does let Beth(DarkRose) drive it occassionsally,,, may we could convince Beth to come out...
