^^^ actually it is set in stone

Reduction and refocusing of Meets
So it was discussed at the MD rotary BBQ that there are a couple key events that, A- draw more people out, and B- are great social venues. Instead of meeting every month we would concentrate on these events essentially turning this into a meet about once every two to three months. Big meeting places would seem to be the Delaware locations, Stinks BBQ, MD Rotary BBQ, are among the notable venues, what do you all think??? It makes more sense these days, with the state of the economy, vacation plans, etc, etc. to have more concentrated meets that would generate more hype getting more involvement from you guys and gals, its your guys meet so what do you think???
I actually like that idea greg and it should allow me to show up more often. With the way gas prices are it does get costly doing it monthly, especially for those who drive over hundred miles to the meets.
BTW......If anyone is interested (I will be going because around the corner from where I live)

Hey Chico ,found website for that Audio Jam Car Show ? Do you know how are the categories set up? Is this a good place for our club members to show or should we just go to view ? Does the group rate apply, both to show or just to view ? There will be more girls in bikinis, so those who don't like to mix their cars with bikinis, sorry.

If folks are interested in this, lets start a list, it is just a week away. And what time and where should we meet to caravan there ? Hey doublegoose, for the July Atco piston vs rotary, you can be both ,OK

Well this is very close for me so no need for me to caravan. Unless you guys want to meet somewhere for breakfast. I will find out the club rate vs regular rate today. But this is a small meet just like the last.....with some differences. 1) more people its in a popular shopping center (kmart, radioshack, shoprite, mcdonalds, tacobell, and a furniture store) off of a major road so it gets pretty crowded. 2) Alot more activities besides the eating contests (where they give prizes like stereos, amps, t-shirts, etc...) they usually have a radio throwing contest, tug of war contest, motorcycle trick riding show, etc. This show like the last usually fills up pretty quick. So getting there early is the key for good parking. I will not enter my car in this one but will definitly hang out. Oh and definitly enter an eating contest or two. But I think they give out a prize for best club (participation in contest and cars in show).
Hey Chico, I can meet you somewhere close to there for breakfast, if you like. Still trying to decide if I will enter my car, don't know the categories or judging criteria. If it is all about sound systems, I just have the stock bose system, nothing fancier. I will try to call you today to talk about hooking up.
