great, i'll be out of town on the 28th. If it was the 21st i'd be able to go.

 

OK why don't we meed at the Delaware I95 rest stop at 9:00am leaving by 9:15am .......then picking up the MD guys at Whitemarsh (IKEA parking lot) at 9:45am. That would put us at the show around 10:30am.

Any objections or suggestions???????

 

Chico ,it all sounds good, but RXdad says we need to be there at 10am to get parking. Maybe we should make it a little earlier at Delaware rest stop, say 8:30am ,leaving 8:45 am and pick up the MD folks at Whitemarsh at 9:15.

I agree, but suggest the leaving time are 8:45 and 9:15 Sharp. If people are late, they will miss the caravan.

there are many rest stops is there an address i can just put into my gps? or maybe link me on google.maps?

 

There is only one rest stop in DE. It is in the middle of the highway (with th sonoco gas station). If you are coming south on I95 it's after Wilmington and after the Rt 1/Christiana mall exit. Before you get to the Rt 896/University of DE exit.

 

okay here is a picture of where you guys are and where i am, is there anyone i can meet up with that i can either follow to the i-95 rest stop or maybe is there somewhere along the way where i can meet up with you guys closer to the car show?

Ok, my bad........that explains why you didnt know where the rest stop was. It doesnt make sense for you to meet us along the way.....unless you just like driving extra. Dont back track though ....like Stinkhause sd just meet us at the show. Or see if you can caravan with the other guys that live near you (Kent Island area...I think).

 

does anyone that lives close to me wanna meet me and ill follow to i-95 rest stop? or meet you guys somewhere before the car show so i can drive in with you all. i also just took off work so im deff going guys i just need to get this all planned out

 

Ok maybe we can arrange to meet you along the way closer to the car show. RX8dad and Rotor8 I think are the only two that have been to this event in the past and can give you a place along the way to join the caravan.

This will minimize the amount of back tracking necessary to meet up with us.

We will be leave here at 9:15 am sharp, so don't be late.

okay well this will be a 2 hour 20min drive and from there another 40min or so to the car show i think, so i guess ill leave my house like 6:30-6:45am so i should be there maybe like 20min early or so that sound good?

I think the entry fee is $10, at least that's what it was a few years ago.

Well worth it though and the excess proceeds go to charity.
