I say lets shoot to eat by 3pm and be there between 1-1:30pm. Reason is its getting dark by 4:45pm. We should give the out of staters a little bit of sunlight on their drive home.

Let's make the last one of the year a good one!!!!!

If you are a maybe for weather, just make yourself a "YES" for going. That way we can distinguish between people who have other shat possibly going on that day and people who are just waiting on the weather.

^ We just figured that would be a better time for people making a long drive. Might be able to hit the aquarium after.

Well, I might not be making it to the Sushi meet after all... I was almost home tonight when I noticed a really strange smell. I thought it might be coming from something outside, so I rolled my windows down... nope... all my gauges were reading fine, the AccessPORT didn't have anything bad to say, so I figured I would just get it home and check it tomorrow. I had been driving pretty slow so I eased into boost to see if it was driving alright. As soon as I hit boost it started popping and sputtering and falling all over itself, when I throttled off I got a loud series of gunshots. I experimented again, pushing into boost... pop pop bang. AFRs were 11.1 on the screen, but thats as low as the AP shows... wtf was going on?

I got home and parked and noticed the smell had gotten a lot stronger all of the sudden. It almost smelled like burned plastic or rubber? That's when I saw the smoke. Smoke started pouring up through the hood and inside the car.

So yeah, my car lit on fire. I managed to act quickly enough to diagnose the problem and save the car, but the meth controller and meth pump are slagged. The meth pump wouldn't shut off and sprayed through my entire bottle of fluid while the controller melted into a puddle in my glovebox. I managed to get a wrench and disconnect the controller and pump from the battery before it spread. Without power it sputtered out and I had my fire extinguisher handy.

I'm not going to elaborate, but I know exactly who installed the pump controller and electrical for the pump and they will be hearing from my lawyer Monday.

Yeah, I'm so ******* tired of dealing with this. Let this be a lesson to you all... do your own EVERYTHING. Vendors, mechanics and shops don't give a **** about your car. You won't get anything cheap, or on time, and when you finally do get it, it will light on fire.

edit: I'm so stressed from all this crap, logging off the forums for the weekend.
