OMG, after sifting through a lot of wishy washy BS in the last 5 pages, just pick a location. You have the time, and the day. If people can make it, they can make it. Some people are willing to drive 7 hours to a meet, Me, I've driven 3 1/2 a couple times now. Obviously we want to maximize participation, but no matter how you slice it, there are going to be no-shows...so plan for it and dont get sand in your vagina when it happens.

I so didn't know there were two Bel Airs in Md o.O I just looked it up and saw one in northern MD...like near cumberland, sorry -_- but that Bel Air is far more reasonable!

We have time to decide on a location, we are just waiting for the people who have to do the furthest drive to chime in and let us get an idea of who is interested so we can accommodate them versus the maybe people. BUT, if we do not get any feed back from them by this weekend, then we are just going to pick a location.

 

Well someone is writing 4 papers and studying for 2 finals since I slacked off and went to Jersey this weekend so I don't have time to troll all day

Did you actually reach out to those folks that are in the distant reaches or are you just hoping that they come across this information on the thread and speak up? I would suggest sending out some PMs to the New York n Jersey folks to see if they would be more likely to attend if it was way up north. That way yer not just waitin for nothin.

 

Thats not the way it works,,, the people in the state pic the place, the people traveling decide wether its worth coming or not, of course we will accomodate the out of staters as much as possible,,, the decision will be made in the next day or so,

We are checking it out on thursday for possible Sushi meet someday. Probably not next month but maybe the first Maryland month of the new year.

I'm trying to snag a menu there this thursday since their website is not up yet.

 

Totally understandable, and I'm hoping to make it there, traffic is going to suck....I hate DC traffic lol but I need a fun day! this week has been the week from hell! I need sushi! and maybe one drink...
