Members can have the number if they get lost or need extra info. Bob is the guy who runs the show, I don't know him, but you can call for info.

Directions:
From NJ take the George Washington Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway heading towards the Throgs Neck Bridge to Long Island. Then follow the signs for Route 495 East (the Long Island Expressway East) I think you will be on the Clearview Expressay first before the 495 (there will be signs for all of that on the bridge). Take the L.I.E. East to exit 63 North (Ocean Avenue North) Follow Ocean Avenue North, you will pass a Fridays on the left, and pass Horseblock Road, then the road will start to turn to the right as you will pass Granny Road and go under an overpass. After that you should see a very long line of cars entering the lot on the left (Bald Hill). If you get lost call me (Brian 516 661-7970) or stop and ask where Bald Hill is, everyone in that area knows where it is. You can go to www.mapquest.com and enter your address and then enter 2240 North Ocean Avenue, Farmingville NY 11738 that will take you to the Pre meet below:

Pre meet:
We will be meeting in the Fridays parking lot on Ocean Avenue before the show at 7:00 A.M. We will be leaving the Fridays parking lot at 7:45 A.M. This is so it will be a little easier to find "Bald Hill" because it can be a bit tricking to get to. After the Show:
After the show we can all go get a bite to eat. We can decide where to go during the show, there are plenty of places to eat in that area, maybe Fridays? After we get a bite to eat we will head over to the Darkside Haunted House, that's if everyone still has the energy to do it. Sounds like a fun day. But I'll be out there much later as I will be getting absolutely blitzed saturday night and may not be sober till about 2 in the afternoon sunday.

blah no vegas for me... tickets are toooo dam expensive. especially since id leave friday nite and come back sunday night.. 440 for basically 1 day in vegas.. not worth it..

Hey thanks Wayne, at this show I'll remember the film so I can post lots of pics of all the cars not just the 8's. I'm looking forward to it, the weather is going to be nice, well, so says the weather man (not a good source of info). :p

Ok if anyone has any direction questions about tomorrow just p/m me or post them on this thread tonight. It should be about 65-67 tomorrow afternoon, according to the weather channel. If we do end up going out after the show, I would suggest bringing extra money for the haunted house, and a jacket or sweat shirt, because it will most likely be cold at night. Last week rotaryjoe, my girl friend and I were freezing all day, but then again there was no sun at all.

Remember, if you are meeting us at the Friday's parking lot, we will be there until 7:45, and then we are all going to the show up the block.

NO you cannot leave, you have been held capture by the evil RX8 club members until 5pm Oct. 31 and if you try to leave your 8 will turn into a pumpkin! Or even worse, a Honda Civic with all the trimmings.



It's not a problem at all leaving at 4. Oh by the way it's 15 bucks to get into the car show. I don't know how much the spectator charge is.

 

You guys are crazy. I don't even know what 7:45 am is I should be there tomorrow maybe mid day. Don't know for sure though.

It was a good time but the car show was very unorganized. I won't be doing another car show that is hosted by these people again. I have many other pictures I will bring with me to the car show this weekend. I will post a new thread about this up and coming car show on November 7th Sunday. Also there will be a post of a major RX8tristateclub meet coming up on the 28th of November, look for it this weekend on the boards.
