hey Dan pass me the info on the car club you do track days w/ at Summit Point, i'm starting to get the itch again lol

 

Well in the past when i set up the meets no one had anything to do.. i even talked to my managers for free movies back then.. but no one took me up on my offer.. no one even wanted to eat or anything.. I'll cont to look for back roads to cruise if yall still want to do that.. i'll bring my 3 for that.. since my 7 is at half performance until i get it fixed for high revin.. :-D

 

Well, I know I'll show up for a meet at some point assuming there's another one sometime soon... now that I have my 8 back :D

 

For those intrested I was made aware of a meet going down on Sat. 18th @ white marsh mall. Here is the message I got with the details...

On 3/18/07 at the White Marsh Mall park and ride at 12 noon. This is suppose to be a huge meet.

Directions to the White marsh park and ride:
95 north
take exit 67B
Make a left at the first light Honeygo BLVD (make sure you are in the outer turn lane)
Bare to you're right before the next light and you should see some Evo's in the back.

I may go but I dunno... it depends if i can get out of work early. If there are any changes I will post them.

 

Why do all the meets I hear about have to be on Saturday afternoons?! I work, people. And only on Saturdays. =(

 

I know what you mean... I e-mailed the guy and asked why not later in the day when people are actually off. I dont get off work till 1230 and thats in Arlington VA

 

So many times I'm sitting around wondering how cool it would be to go to a meet. Then whenever there is one its always on a day that I've already made plans! I'll be there next time I guess. Thanks for letting us know Landon. So, this is a park and ride? Where are they riding to?

I dont know... i didnt plan this one. Its i guess by some evo guys or something. either way the time of the meet is just awful. I would plan one out but its so damn hard to get 8s out for a meet which sucks

Last year we had all sorts of tuners, old school muscle, and exotics like lambos, ferraris, a zonda, ford GT, Z06, etc...it was a great time.

 

Hmm... maybe I'll make it. And perhaps I can drag my boyfriend along too

 

Just thought I would post over here too... This saturday at 5pm a buddy of mine is throwing a BBQ and wants the place PACKED. Its in bowie md if you know where that is and all who want to come are invited. If you are interested PM me and I will give you more detail and directions. I hope to see some of you guys (and gals) there.

 

For those I didnt get a chance to talk to today, the BBQ has been postponed because of the weather. My buddy is looking at trying this again next weekend. I will keep you guys up to date.

Landon, you should think about hosting another bbq.

 

I would but it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to get anyone out. I may get like 10 responses back from people that say they are coming or want to come, then as the date get closer “things” pop up and no one make it. If I am going to put my own money out there to host another BBQ, I at least want to be sure that people are actually going to come.

I'm in for saturday evenings(gotta work till six.)sundays after 5:00 is cool too!most traffic around the beltway is slow(unless some fool want's to do construction work)oh and by the way that date of 5/07/07 that's monday and i'll be working.i think we need phone numbers to exchange so we can keep the call results a little tighter.just a thought?a voice mail?something to get me out of the house will work!!
