i could've pulled more. i wasn't fully flooring the car around the track due to the car over heating. on that back straight i would get about 230 degrees...too hot for my liking.

Great video! Wankelbolt was kind enough to give me a ride during one of the instructor sessions. Nice to see what the car can do with a real driver!

Without traffic, I would hit 105 on the back straight, just over 110 on the main straight. I couldn't see Wankelbolt's speed there.

I think that was the lady in front of me at tech. That's her husband and kid in the pic.

I used to see 140+ in the FD on the back straight before I'd stop admiring the speedo and focus ahead of me. I'll be curious to see what I can get the RX-8 up to.

How may events have you guys run? Will you be running the August full course event?

On the front straight, the Z06's were at 140, the GT2 apparently closer to 165.

That was my first. I was planning on going again next year, but if I can swing the weekend off (with work and wife) I'll do Mazda Drivers over Labor Day weekend. If not, there's a Porsche club event in September a couple friends are going to, but that's perilously close to my anniversary.
