Redline time attack Time attack has grown tremendously over the last few years and Redline is quickly becoming a battleground for the hottest cars in the country

GT Sim race: The GT Sim Race brings you closer to the racing action than you ever thought possible by offering passenger rides in the hottest cars with the coolest drivers. Participation is free.

Falken Drift DemoTeam Falken is the most prominent drifting team in the US and in 2007 it will join GT LIVE with blockbuster drifting demos.


Tarzan's Lap Battle:Never been on the race track? Wanna try? Tarzan's Lap Battle allows you to get track time at GT LIVE and to interact with Tarzan Yamada. This attraction is open to all makes and models as long as they are safe and street legal

Falken Drift Experience: Yes you guessed it, you can sit passenger side with a pro drifter

Koni Challenge Road Racing SeriesThe Koni Challenge features battles in two different classes including sports cars from Mazda, Acura, Ford, Nissan and BMW.

My car is going to be in the shop. Stupid hit and run drivers. So there goes the track time. I might still head out there to check it out though!

 

I'll be coming out. Should be a good time. I just hope it's not as hot as this weekend.

Good luck with Danville. When I looked, everything was full. I found places in South Boston - a tiny bit further away in our direction.

 

Yeah I figured as much thats why I first found out about event I booked right away...I'm going both days Sat & Sun & staying one night.

 

how far is that drive?

 

From Va Beach it should be just under 4 hours. I think Danville is 10-15 minutes from VIR and South Boston about 20-25. Lynchburg is something like an hour away from VIR.

 

You did a good thing. When I went last year I figured I'd just hop down and get a room. ended up driving from hotel to hotel for like 2 hours before finally finding something. I was about to just sleep in the car.

 

where is going to be held?

Some of us will be camping on site on Saturday night. It's $35 per tent. So far I think about 4 or 5 of us will be camping.
