Damn! I've owned my RX-8 for over 3 years and have traveled through 4 different states. Have never been pulled over. I always thought I would by having a bright red car. Hehe.

 

Pulled over in the rental Ford edge while my 8 was in the body shop. Passed a statie, remembered me from a real bad accident on 93 north by the tanks in Dorchester and let me go after he asked if the guy we pulled from the wreckage lived.
It's great having my job every once and a while

I got a court date for my first speeding ticket in my 8 next Wed. Got cited for going 51 in a 35 mph zone.

 

Was heading northbound on 495 yesterday at 9AM. Saw a WB with full Mazdaspeed kit heading south.

 

Another Nordic Green riding westbound on the pike, drove next to him for awhile but he had some serious tunnel vision.

There's also a silver that I see in Cleveland circle all the time has some kit but I can't remember what it is right now.

Sat behind a red RX-8 with the nameplate removed for a few miles headed west on the Pike this morning (8:20ish). Didn't have a chance to pull up beside him and wave - I don't know if he knew I was there. I didn't get too close, since I didn't want him to think I was some random jackass riding his bumper..

 

It seems that RX-8s are coming out of hibernation - saw two in the last two days.
Was stuck in traffic on Rt.9 yesterday with a Shinka with NH plates. (At least I think it was a Shinka. The darker red paint wasn't stock for any model year, right?) Had a nice couple in it that returned the favor when I waved at them.
Today managed to catch up with a BB on 495 at the end of my commute. Pretty sure the driver noticed me, even though there were no exchanges of pleasantries :D

 

same WB as before i think @ 745am going 495NB near the exit32-33 rest stop, I was SB BB.

also a little while ago, Black series II (R3 I think) on 495NB when i was getting off near exit 35. I totally waved at you! (and was checking out your car)

534 Blue GT turning down Comm Ave (into city)from Harvard Ave.
537 Black shinka with a dented fender sitting in traffic on Harvard Ave.
622 Ti Grey Parked on the corner of Comm Ave and Washington on the T side. (away from city)

Everything looked stock except that dent, that might have been an aftermarket dent.

 

spotted Injice??? we met once at a dunkies in quincy and he had another friend with a red RX8.

spotted his car in east milton square parked across from the fruit center saturday night maybe 6ish and again this am on 93 North at the Milton/Boston line, i was in the south bound side in an ambulance. i never got to see a Full MS 8 in motion, just up close standing around it. well i had the full kit without the wing. but never till this am got to see one on the road coming at me. It looks awesome. not wild like alot of kits just smooth and i didn't like WB until this am too. made me miss my car

me or him? either way i was pretty pissed, the insurance company said that they mailed my check on wednesday along with a bunch of other stuff/title to sign, injury paperwork(if i was still hurt) and a notice for a total loss. surprise !!!!! guess what didn't make it to my house. of course i got all the other bullshit they sent me the very next day but no go on the damn check. i could be driving around in my new car right now but NO, i have to drive around in my 90 F150 instead.
