Many years back the club started off with only Mazda Proteges. Hence the name is New England Protege Owners Club. Since then it has expanded to all Mazda makes and even some non-Mazda owners (we are car folk at heart). We thought about changing it to something else, but in the end we decided that the name is part of who we are and our history.

I was busy driving back from Ohio in mine...with an hour delay from being the first car behind a 5-car +1 motorcycle wreck in New London.

Otherwise I probably would have been there

 

It seems like every meet, my car has a problem and I can't go. First it was my engine(covered under warranty), then cat(covered under warranty), now it's in the body shop after getting rear ended. I want to scratch the paint to see if it was originally SS......

Spotted a BB on the flatbed of a wrecker (no apparent damage) on the pike westbound just before 128 this morning around 8:30.

Hey, new rx-8 owner here.
Saw a blue one last night in North Quincy center. It had a pretty big wing on the back and i think it was lowered too. Is it anyone's from this forum?

Yep that was it. Good to see other 8 in this area. I've had mine for about a month and this was the first time I saw another one.
What kind of wheels do you have? It was kinda dark out so i couldn't see very well.

Yeah, its rare to see an 8 around the south shore area thats on the forum, i am always in the quincy area, the rims i have are my winter set up hah they are cheap sport edition rims ha. the wing you saw is a mazdaspeed wing.

 

Saw a red 8 parked outside BestBuy in Wareham earlier this week : ) Parked right next to me, I think it was bought from O'Hara Mazda a few months back, looked like the one they had for sale when I was originally looking.

 

Silver stock 8 driving east on RT.6 Cape Cod. I was behind him. There was a bumper sticker on it and I think an older guy in his 50s driving.
