Anyone here went to Ocean City this past weekend? We ran into a copper red, Foxy Roxy, TG from Baltimore, another VR, and ended up caravanning with a silver and TG. Can anyone ID themselves?

First post. Just got my 8 on Friday- VR GT, red/black interior, spoiler. So far I love it, look for me in and around Cloumbia, b-more, Laurel and DC.

I just saw an EXACT match of mine today on Dobbin Rd. Not that there are many red 8's around or anything.

Who was at Capital Raceway on Friday night? I saw another titanium grey parked out there. I was waiting to run, but never got an opportunity to before the thunderstorm rolled through.

 

I wish I didn't have to but I'll be able to go back to school, pay for my 8 and have plenty of extra spending money. Plus, I get to play in nice cars

 

Mandy- I checked out your myspace. I used to date a girl in MD years ago who, rumor has it, now drives a white RX8, that would have been too freaky. I saw a photo of a yellow Lambo Gallardo. Did you snap that at pic at the ghetto little used car lot in Laurel off Rt 1?

I pass that place everyday and they sell a few used POS's, but every week they have some crazy exotic parked out front. I saw a very similar car there a few weeks ago. Then it was a 355, now it's a 7 series. Wierd.

I waxed my car today for the first time since I bought it =D








I've been driving my mom's rental car around everywhere the past few days- a total **** box... just to save from putting the miles on my car. Well, when I went to return it, I had to fill the gas tank up, and me being a dummy and not used to gigantic 4 door cars, didn't pull far enough forward at the pump, but still tried to make it reach, and ended up spilling gas all down my front and down the side of the car :] So I tried to pull forward a bit, and when I went to open the door, it slammed into the guard rail right next to it, and I couldn't squeeze through the small opening to get out! :D

I'd to submit a poll idea. If not a poll, at least an informal response from all the MD peeps.

How many of you actually have the front license plate on your car? I haven't had one on any of my vehicles for 10 years. I've been pulled over once, and it was for not having the new stickers on the rear plate (nothing to do with the front one- but he wrote me up for it anyway).

I got pulled for it about 8 weeks ago. Cop didnt have anything else to do other than to harass me about not having my front plate on... What a jerk!

 

Anyone know how much the ticket would be? I might be willing to risk it... I live in Harford County though and cops are ridiculous about stupid things, especially tint! It's just not possible to keep 20% tint for over a week here. And lift kits on trucks, they get them a lot, too. Plus I live less than a mile from the precinct in Jarrettsville so I see at least 3 cops anytime I go anywhere.

 

So, this Saturday I'll be at the inner harbor as this is my last weekend in Maryland.

WOW. I grew up in Jarrettsville! I used to work at the Supermarket that became the police station. I live in Columbia now, but my parents are still there. That's my home! CRAZY!

When I lived there (up until 2000), I didn't have a plate. But I have heard things have changed with enforcement.

 

Its a 60 dollar ticket and NO points since its not a moving violation

 

That's not so bad I guess... and I could always cry to get out of the ticket It's worked twice so far :D
