why you selling it?.. are you staying rotary? or even in mazda?

 

i will definetly own another i just bought a buisiness in salisbury and need a truck as well as a hatchback for it so my toy money is going to be occuppied for a bit. i am really sad to see it go. my eyes are tearing up just thinking about it.
its a pretty good deal. in about a year or so i'll be back on the market. if i am lucky it could even be less. i'll try to make it to another meet before she's gone or even after maybe. if you guys ever get together and trek down to the beach i'm on the way, but i'll definetly be moochin a ride off someone. i'll need it to cure the shakes from rotary withdrawl. oh and if anyone on here uses a radar detector its almost worthless. 95% of the state troopers out there are using lidar in daylight. of course i was so tired the other day driving to b-more from salisbury after work, i followed an unmarked car for like fifteen minutes then forgot he was a cop and passed him. i was polite and didnt swerve past him or anything. i cant believe i am still ticketless. he was like "you know i pulled you over for speeding but why the hell did you pass me" i told him i didnt realize he was a cop. maybe he thought i was too stupid to deserve a ticket or something.

 

what is Lidar? havent heard of it.. So you need a pick up truck and a p'ce of crap honda civic hatchback?.. i say go to an auction and get it.. it'll save you money.. If i had the money i would buy it off ya.. but i would like a house first.. :-D.. just tell me where ya got ya radar detector from.. I like the way it looks and it works well from what you say til you get to the O.C of MD..

I had just got my ports open too.. i should be free tomorrow at 7.. i'll be there.. so if anyone wants to come up to WhiteMarsh.

the truck is actually a little bigger/pricier then a pick up. i need a decent one cause if it breaks down i gotta pay for a rental at like 100 bucks a day. but yeah i'll probably pick up a cheaper car for the time being. lidar is the lasar guns the cops have to catch evil speeders. it singles out a vehicle unlike radar and gives a much more accurate measurement of your speed. i got mine off ebay. it wasnt cheap but has more than paid for itself. its a bel rx75 plus(i think). maybe they will have a bigger faster rotary by the time i'm back on the market

 

Lidar is uh.. scary stuff.. hmm..if i could get my hands on the material that they make the stealth planes wit.. :-D put it on the front bumper and back bumper... i'll cont to look to find a radar detector simular to yours.. i'm pretty sure its as expensive as the valentine one.. they'll come out with the turboed 8 before anything.. like how they did with the 7's.. and generations before..

I was out whitemarsh with another rx7 member.. and around 7pm we noticed the rain so we left and figured no one was goin to show up in the rain...

On the way home from whitemarsh i ran into a black rx8 goin south bound on 95.. not sure if it was anyone on here or not.. but the driver was by them selves.. no tints or anything..

well i unlocked my aux ports.. have new injectors put in and just put in new spark plugs this morning..

the sig is nice but the pics arent coming up..

 

How's it driving now? Any more get up and go? There's a guy selling an 85 1st gen in Bel Air. It's red w/85,000 original miles. He's asking $5500. It's beautiful inside and out. He must be asking too much because it has been there for about 5 weeks. Don't know how it runs though.

The sig should be working now. The other pics were larger so I will have to work on making these bigger next. Please let me know if you can see them now.

 

yeah that is way to expensive for a first gen.. i say he could get 3K for it.. the car is driving greatly now.. thinkin of gettin a new header now..

Nice to here the 7 is coming along...What kind of headers? Here are some pics of the MX-6. I still have to repaint the headlights to match better, but its getting there.

I really didnt have any particular header in mind.. anyone would be better than the stock one.. :-D.. just that i'm not 100% sure on the inches of my pipes and dont wanna buy the wrong size headers..

 

Has anybody here heard that K&N cancelled the production of their typhoon short ram air intake?? I went to Vivid and GW Motorsports and Vivid kept telling me it was on backorder and GW told me they stopped making it. It didn't make sense because all the reviews I heard about the intake were 100% good.
Now I had to settle with the AEM cold air intake which Im really not looking forward to putting on cause I have to pull my bumper off now. Does anybody here have the AEM system? If so, was it tough to install??

 

I'm not sure if any of you have taken a look.. but there is a MD BBQ this saturday if any of you are free.. after the show. some of us are heading down to OC for the import show.. so it'll be a nice lil caravan down there.. :-D

my interior isnt the best but its something.. I'm tryin to get a caravan down to the BBQ.. I have 3 people already following me down.. we are meeting up at bestbuy in Security around 8.30-9 0'clock.. cuz my bestbuy meeting (gotta love work meetings) isnt over wit til 9am. and plus there is a McD's right there so you can still get breakfast.

wow man nice pics, yeah I realllllly wish I coulda made that now haha oh well theres always next time. But man I was disappointed too, the only one that stopped by and said hey at the OC show was shane. I was the only 8 inside so it wasnt that hard to miss but its all good. I got 3rd which isnt too bad considering it was my 1st show and I got beat by 2 RX7s haha.
