Yeah.. I've been to columbia.. but havent been for the past two meets though.. i wont be able to make it to this one either on sat the 22nd.. cuz they started the thread to late.. so that's why i rather just have a weekly meet.. :-D but since gas is going up i dont know if everyone would feel like coming out every week.. but we'll decide that this thurs.. i'm goin to see if any 7's would like to come out..

Can anyone recommend a shop in the MD/DC area to install a front bumper and/or body kit? I live in Silver Spring.

 

Yeah dude, and Joppatowne High is literally about 1 minute from my house. I do own an MX-3 as well that I'm trying to keep in shape. I'm busy most Sundays between 11-2pm when I'm practicing with my band. But this Sunday we're off, so it should work if the weather's nice.

I used to play tennis in highschool, but I haven't played since then... about 13 years. lol

For those who are coming tonight.. i talked to my manager yesturday and said that I can get yall in for a free movie.. i'll be in the area a lil early.. because i gotta pick up my wheel for my mountain bike around the corner.. the address is 8141 Honeygo blvd.. but the directions should mainly bring you around the front in the avenue.. I'll be parked in the over flow parking lot hopefully to see yall around 7pm.. we can watch what ever movie that is good for yall..

i dont know if i can make it. its so close my engine wont warm up all the way and it could flood . i'll show. i think my fiance is bar tending at chiles. if shes not one of her/my friends is. that could equal cheap drinks after before or during the movie.

Yeah, 5 of us showed last night: James, Jason, Coke, another James and myself... I believe I got the names right.

I'll keep an eye on the weather for Sunday, and if it looks like it'll stay dry, I can PM you sometime Saturday.

 

the meeting went pretty well yestuday.. 2gray 2 red and my old white.. :-D.. hopefully more come out next week.. i'll be on a look out for a place to ride around.. but since gas prices are going up.. i'll leave it to yall if yall wanna meet up biweekly or keep it everyweek..

 

It's still a little wet this morning but I'm going to drive the 8 anyway because it hasn't been run in about 2 weeks. If you want to meet up @ Joppatowne H.S. at 11 I'll be there. If not that's cool we can meet some other time.

 

Hi guys how are you i was thinking to get a turbo and maybe interceptor X so if you know any one in MD trying to sell would you let me know ... also i would love to see one 8 turbo running in person to see how it pulls and how it runs ... i am around Gaithersburg , Rockville .

shawn there are several turboed 8's running around, they are pretty fast and you couldnt really even tell a difference unless you pop the hood or look at the grill really hard to see the intercooler.. I say come out to the car meetings they happends once a month.. most of the times its the 3rd sunday.. since you are in southern md anyway.. i think that would be your best bet to see a working turbo 8 or just contact someone and meet up..

the only turbo kit i recall up for sale was listed a few months back. i'm pretty sure that rx8fan01 sold his kit - he posted it under the parts for sale section. i'll try to be at the next meet, usually held at the fuddruckers on dobbin road in columbia, md.

Well there is a local meet up here in Whitemarsh that i'm tryin to get established every thurs.. but the other meet is in columbia MD by fudruckers off of Dobbin road.. i'll have to look on the rx7 forum to find the mapquest directions or you can go to fudruckers.com and look for that location..
