Yep, and it continues on Sunday if anyone missed it. It was awesome. Drove a Mazda 5 and got within 1 sec of the track time to match. The MX5 handles close to the RX and got within 1/2 sec of the best time.

The RX8 school though was a bit of a review for me. I already knew how to drive one and how to correctly handle a sports car (helps owning the RX8). Everyone in my group got jealous when they found out I already had an 8.

 

Well i was just thinking.. isnt next weekend is the meeting.. so how about we just meet there next sunday at 1pm sharp.. i like to get there early to get a nice spot on the parking lot.. so we can skip this friday..

I totally messed up with the match time...I thought it was match it or better it so Im out there flying with the 6 and got like 5 seconds under so I pulled up to the guy and was like now thats gotta be the fast time and he's like yeah but youre supposed to match it...exactly match it. haha oh well, still good times. Anybody else get down there? I dunno how you can pass it up...screw around with someone elses car...for free?!?!

 

Sunday could be cool, lets get a bunch of people out there, Friday is not so good during the day time, work kind of gets in the way.

The Autocrats thing isnt until 10pm, you are going to show at 1pm?? Why so early??

yeah im getting rid of the emblem as well, but its still on the original bumper. The autoshop told me that it would break if it was taken off so your best bet would be just to order one. There only around $9 if you order through Rosenthal mazda in Arlington.

to add to the list is also a black fuel door/lid.

Well we are meeting there at 1pm.. and leaving at 1.30 sharp..to get rolling to Columbia to meet up with the rest of the crew at 2pm. Only reason for leaving at 1.30 is so that we can do speed limit and not get pulled over by the cops. And everyone must bring 4 dollars for tolls.. 2 to go.. and 2 to get back.

mrsjackson how much for that unpainted spoiler i wasnt planning on doing that mod too soon but if the price is right

 

$200.00 I ordered the spoiler from extreme Dimensions and I am asking a lot less than what I paid for it, plus you dont have to pay for shipping costs, you can just pick it up. Let me also add that this is not an "authentic" mazdaspeed spoiler/wing. It is an aftermarket replica, but definetly worth the asking price!

 

mrsjackson...How much for the rotary accents and exhaust finishers? Can't make it on Sunday because I have to finish roughing my basement so I can hopefully finish it next weekend (long weekend).

I have to vent......

Today at lunch around 1215 or so I saw another black 8 pull into the parking lot, I watched him walk past me and say nothing, I was so dissapointed!!! I asked him if he was driving the black 8, he said yeah nice huh.......

What an assclown!!! He could have said a little "whats up", or comment on all the hard work I have dont to mine.........

 

Did that guy see you in your 8? or were you already out of your 8 and just happen to ask him?

 

Man I hate that. I see 8s driving around pasadena all the time and I wave and honk and everything and all I get is a death stare, but its mostly like 50 yr old dudes or old ladys so I guess they see a kid and they're like what waste of a nice car....whatever man.
