MA South Shore/Boston Area Tint Place(s)

Alright well the subject says it all. Just curious as to what place's around my area to a extent do Tinting and how much and possibly which are good, the best, and flat out suck. lol. I've asked a few of my friends and have heard a few price's both from good to way to expensive. So anyone know a shop and their prices?

I heard that R.A.D. in Norwood charges $230 no matter what car (needless to say I aint paying that much for my 8 to be done up) and they only do it one day a week.

Looking to um con a tint job for a B-day gift for myself

Well I got no replies from this thread BUT.. today I went to a local Speed Shack here in Norwood that I seen while filling up my gas does Tint jobs. I went in and asked the owner about how much and what percentages they do. He told me they do it for $265 and usualy recommend 20% in the rear and 35% for the fronts due to it being the legal limit in MA. He told me they do jobs for the Cadilac, Mercedes, and Audi Dealerships in the area (Rt1 Automile whoohoo lol). While there a guy chimmed in and said he had them do it and he said he loved the job they did. Also he said it has a life time warrenty. I seen the guys car and it though it was a wannabe pimped out Maxima the job did look good.

So again anyone know any shops with decent price's.

No responses mean nobody likes you.

zing!

I paid $200 (maybe just under - can't remember the exact #) and the place is awesome. they get the tint up to 1/16 inch which looks f8ckin great. Here's their website.

They about 3 minutes off 95 - Cranston St., off Rt 10, which is the exit at the Prov. Place mall.

Edit: They all do lifetime gaurantees, as well as discounted "fix its" (if you get a fix it ticket, they discount the cost of redoing the tint after you prove to the state that you no longer have illegal tint). 3M is one of the best tints, there are 1 or 2 other brands that are also excellent - you'll have to search for the names b/c I don't know 'em.

Here's mine - 15% all around

^Shudup you Unsportsman like Pat's fan hahaha...
Just sent them a email asking a few quick questions. Site looks good and put together which surprised me so I might go to them if the price is right and if its possible if I can drop it off, do some shopping and come back a few hours later.

lmao. Don't make me come up to Boston and stomp on your logo!!

Sunset has been in business for a long time. Everyone I know recommended them & had used them for multiple vehicles over the years, so that's where I went when I got the 8. It's the right time to do it, since there's no reason to open your windows this time of year.

Hey Kev, there's also a tint place in Plymouth. I got some business cards from the world of wheels show and it seems like there are a bunch of shops concentrated in that area.

^Sweet Pm me their number or website. I have a aunt who lives in Plymouth so if all else I could crash at her place while they do the job. Same distance (for the most part) between here and Plymouth and here and RI, well kinda.

There's a Texas Roadhouse that's about a 5 min walk (if that) from Sunset Tint. Nothing like walking into a steakhouse and seeing a giant f8cking display case showcasing all the steaks.

Kick *** restaurant.
